Our furry baby turns one...

Well Chief has turned ONE!  It's been a year to remember with him that's for sure!  It's hard to believe last year at this time we were planning/preparing to get him at the end of April.  Sometimes it feels like we've had him for YEARS!  He's a very active pup and loves, loves, loves attention!  Since having Eliza, it almost feels like I have two children.  He acts like an ornery two year old that will get into anything he can to get some attention.  It's been challenging and frustrating at times, but we continue to push through.  Last week (the 23rd) we celebrated his first birthday.  Nothing big, but we had to have a little something for him.  He got extra playing time in, some new treats, and a doggie cake that I made (surprisingly not that hard to do).  He LOVED the cake and probably would have eaten it all, but we took it away after he'd gotten through half as we didn't want him to get sick.  Here are are few pictures of the birthday boy :)  We love you Chief and hope this year proves better than last!
